Thori’dal a Stars’ Fury

Much has happened in World of Warcraft in the last week, not least of which is an update to the transmogrification system allowing players to transmogrify legendary weapons.

I have been the proud owner of Thori’dal the Star’s Fury for a long time now, as it languished in my bags and collection tab. But, no more! I just had a little fun in Azeroth trying to come up with a transmog to match this gorgeous bow so that it can come out and shine as it should.

The bow has beautiful gold,brown,blue,grey tones that are not entirely easy to match with mail items available in the game. I have chosen to mix a couple of pieces (shoulders and cloak) from the transmog set available to you if you pre-purchase Shadowlands and complete the quest line, with older pieces. The belt, helm and boots are from Warlords of Draenor and the other pieces are older than that. I have to say that it usually hurts me to mix pieces that are so much older with modern pieces, because the graphical qualities between the two are obvious. In this case though, the bow itself has a lower image quality since it hails from the Burning Crusade. Exceptions must be made in this case.
